Meet us, we’re Honor + Chris

  • When we are’t shooting weddings we are with our two boys, Teddy + Rafe

  • We got married in 2022. It was a surprise wedding that Honor didn’t know about - yes, for real.

  • We met back when we both worked at Wagamama in 2013. We bonded over slurping noodles and serving Katsu (actually we didn’t even know each other for the first year but it sounds romantic)

  • We have the extreme opposite tastes in music. Think S Club 7 vs Metallica…

  • We’re both big foodies, although Honor hates cooking! We love to eat out, even with two toddlers (!) and we will literally give anything a go

  • Honor has a weird obsession with Bob Mortimer

  • Chris is either eating chocolate or watching Greys Anatomy (or both!)

  • Our plan is to retire in Thailand - it’s hands down our favourite place in the world and it is our dream to take the boys there really soon

  • We haven’t always followed the crowd - and it has paid off. That is why we passionately recommend planning your wedding around who you are and what you love

  • We are pretty laid back people and that is reflected in how we shoot. We love emotion, fun, connection. Its really important for us to seek out those fleeting moments that often go unseen

Chris + Honor are amazing. The photos are all amazing and exactly what we asked for. The meeting before the wedding to touch base and get to know them was a fab idea. The personal touches they put in to our day really made working with them an incredible experience.

I will forever be recommending Olive + Wilde to all my friends and family that are planning a wedding.

Our Process

A wedding guest dancing at Stoke Place wedding venue
  • Use the contact form to get in touch. If your date is free, we can set up a time to talk and learn a bit about each other. We really love to hear your ideas and plans for your wedding day to see if we are a good fit. It also gives you the opportunity to make sure we’re not a bunch of weirdos. We can also recommend other suppliers that we have worked with and trust, to help you with your planning.

  • During the lead up to your wedding day we will be in touch to run through some of the finer details - addresses, group shot lists etc. We will do this around a month before the wedding day, as by this point (fingers crossed) you will both have a firm idea of how the day will run.

  • At this point our main focus for you is to have a f**king awesome time. Forget about us - we will do our thing and you go celebrate with your family and friends.

That being said we do like to whisk you away for some portraits. This will never be for more than 15-20 minutes at a time and we normally do these just after the ceremony at some point, and then again during golden hour. Don’t worry we only lead, never pose. We’ll have a laugh and capture that energy so your images look and feel authentic.

    TOP TIP FROM US

We know group shots are not the most fun thing to do, but we also know how important they are. Choose around 8 groups and then anyone else can be captured at a less sensitive time. That way we are not taking you away from your wedding day for too long!

  • We always get some sneak peeks to you with 2-3 days. Share them on line and announce the awesome thing that has just happened.

Our aim is to always get your full wedding gallery back to you within 8 weeks (peak season).

    ANOTHER TIP FROM US

When you recieve your gallery don’t look at your images until you are both at home. Both grab a glass of wine and watch them on the biggest screen you can.
